Explore our flagship Kokoda Paper Series of reports that focus on long-term, complex challenges that affect our region, engage with the latest thinking and research with our Discussion papers or read articles from our peer-reviewed journal, Security Challenges, and Future Leaders’ essays. The IFRS Research Committee role is to oversee the conducting of research activities. The research committee will, from time to time, also engage suitably qualified researchers to participate in research production. Our Fellows are a key resource for research. IFRS, through the research committee, retains control over all research published under the IFRS name and has ownership of the results of the research. Our Publications IFRS produces a range of quality publications aligned to either our Research program or our Thought Leadership program.
Our flagship Kokoda Papers provide high-quality analysis and reporting on areas of strategic interest. They are evidence based and contain recommendations for future action. Kokoda Papers are the product of a major multi-disciplinary research project involving contributions from government, industry and academic experts. Refer to our Current Projects page for information on our current areas of research interest. On occasion, IFRS may choose to publish papers written by IFRS Fellows or Research Committee members where the subject matter contributes to debate or discussion on topics of interest to IFRS members. |
