Women In National Security (WINS) Initiative

This event is full and registration has closed - if you have a place reserved or would like to make an inquiry please contact the Kokoda Foundation Office on 02 6295 1555 or info@kokodafoundation.org

Key Speakers:

Ms Marion Grant, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Australian Customs and Border Protection

Ms Gemma Smyth, Manager Strategic Policy, Australian Federal Police

Our key speakers will address a group of young professionals regarding career, barriers, juggling the demands of work with family and other commitments, followed by an open question and answer session and informal networking.

The WINS events aim to present positive role models and encourage women to take up careers and leadership roles within national security, a traditionally male-oriented field. The WINS initiative has been developed to fill this void and will be presented as a series of seminars and panel events throughout the year.
