Why Strategy Matters

This workshop is open to all Kokoda Foundation members and the general public. The Professional Development Workshop will  be led by Ms Susan Eisenhower. She will discuss the characteristics of strategic thinking and why strategic thinking is critical to successful public policy. Ms Eisenhower will apply her extensive experience as a member of blue ribbon task forces including those which have evaluated the future of the US nuclear energy program and non-proliferation programs in Russia. Ms Eisenhower will also draw on her extensive knowledge of US/Russian relations especially in space.

There will be two identical half day professional development workshops run on Wednesday 14 Nov 2012. Please register for one session only.

Ms Susan Eisenhower

President, The Eisenhower Group

Susan Eisenhower is President of the Eisenhower Group, Inc, which provides strategic counsel on political, business and public affairs projects. She has consulted for Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies doing business in the emerging markets of the former Soviet Union and for a number of major institutions and companies engaged in the energy field. Eisenhower also serves as Chairman of the Eisenhower Institute’s Leadership and Public Policy Programs, where she was the Institute’s founding director and the first president and became known for her work in the former Soviet Union and in the energy field.
