Professional Development Workshop

Defining Strategy

Thursday 22 September 2011
National Ballroom, Hotel Realm , ACT

Our professional development workshop is designed primarily for participants in our Professional Development and Training Program and for Young Strategic Leaders.  From the basis of their experience, our speakers will focus on the question, "What is strategic thinking?".  We will explore how the concept of strategy and strategic thinking is changing and if it is a result of the impact of ubiquitous mobility and a 24 hour media cycle.  We will also discuss the impact of technology/social media on the brand of the individual.  We have asked our speakers to tell stories and to share vignettes on the successes and pitfalls of their own careers,

The workshop will be facilitated by the Kokoda Foundation Board of Directors and senior American guests.   As numbers are limited, priority will be given to Young Strategic Leaders who are also Kokoda
