First round of submissions open

The Institute for Regional Security is inviting submissions for The Regionalist, a publication written by young leaders to shake and shape the future of Australia’s strategic thinking. We welcome submissions between 1000 to 3000 words of commentary on recent events, general analysis and opinion pieces related to national security challenges.

This is a Future Strategic Leaders Program research driven online publication for young strategic thinkers in Australia and the broader region. If you have a fresh idea that examines the security challenges of Australia in the decades ahead then The Regionalist is for you. We seek forward leaning articles that present policies and ideas that will better equip today’s policy-makers to overcome current and future security challenges in Australia and our region.

More information is available here. To submit, please refer to the submission guidelines and email the required documents to theregionalist@ifrs.org.au by COB on Thursday 26 May 2016.

Our Future Strategic Leaders are typically those who have either joined the national security community during the last eight years or so, or are in the final phases of their studies and aspire to join the national security community.
